About Joeys

The Joey Scout section is all about having fun and making friends, serving as a warm welcome to the exciting world of Scouting adventures. Joey Scouts get to find out what challenges mean to them, explore their surroundings, and engage actively in their communities. They can share new experiences with others, start building outdoor skills, learn the importance of teamwork, and begin to take on leadership roles in activities. Additionally, they participate in a Unit Council with the support of adults. In Joey Scouts, members form small groups known as Patrols, where they collaborate to uncover a variety of enjoyable, thrilling, and challenging outdoor adventures together.
